Can I hire the pool on a one-off basis?

Sorry but we do not hire the pool out for single sessions.  The pool can only be hired on a Swimshare basis, meaning that you hire the same half-hour or hour slot for a quarter (usually 13 weeks).

Do I need to wait until the start of the next quarter to start my sessions?

No.  You can start at any time and just pay for the weeks remaining in that quarter.  For example, if there are only four weeks of the quarter left you would only pay £72 (£18 per session by 4 weeks).  You can not book just the last week of the quarter.

Is the cost per person or per session?

The cost is £18 per session not per person regardless of whether there are 2 of you or 8 of you swimming.

Why is diving prohibited?

The pool is only 1.2 metres (4 feet) deep all over so the risk of someone diving in and incurring a head injury is very high.

Can nine of us use the pool just this once?

We regret that we can only allow eight people in the pool at any time, whatever the circumstances.

Do babies count towards the eight allowed in the pool at any one time?

Yes, they do.

Adults can swim alone.

What should I do with used nappies?

Please take them home with you to dispose of them.  Please don’t put them down the loo as we’re not on mains drainage and please don’t leave them in the bin for those who follow you to deal with.
